Alcos around today
Posted by METRO on Saturday, February 19, 2005 3:52 PM
Hey I was wondering if anyone knows of any Alco RS-1, 2, or 3s working anywhere still in freight service. I really want a picture or two of these before they're gone from service. I've seen a few on tourist and preservation lines but I'd like to see one in their original role.

Thanks

Why not try posting this interesting question on the Alco forum at www.railroad.net/forums/index.php A year ago a grain elevator in Ohio was still using a Relco HH-600.

Try to get your hands on a copy of The Railroad Press magazine. They keep track of every Alco product in the world, not just the U.S.
