Hi, I'm creating a steam hostler layout and modeling the steam re-fueling facilities at the CNW Lakefront yard. As you know, normally there is an inspection pit near the blow-down and cinder pits. There aren't any inspection pits in the yard. If there weren't separate inspection pits, would the locos be moved to the round house for inspection?
Also, does anybody know if the pink lady ballast would have been used in the yard?
