Nate Gerstein sent this photo of the last Petnam Division train to leave Sedgewick Avenue Station, with Gave Pressman, the engineer, at the window:
Wow! That's interesting David, thanks!
The late, lamented Putnam Division. And weren't those 4-4-0's elegant?
Photos sent me by Nathan Gerstein. 1. at the 155th Street and 8th Avenue Ninth Avenue Elevated Statiion. 2. just north of the Sedgewick Avenue (The Bronx) Engine Facility.

My comment: Note that the Jerome Avene elevated strcture was first sed only by the elevated trains, since the connection to the Lexington Avenue Subway, including the East Side Harlem River Tunnels, were not ready for operation in 1916.
