I know modeling isn't really the thing on this forum but I thought everyone might like a look at this video shot by O Gauger and videographer "The Dakman."
It was shot yesterday at the NYSME facility in Carlstadt NJ, and it's one incredible layout to see, O Gauge two-rail scale.
As I'm sure some of you might know the NYSME is considered the oldest train club in the US, founded in 1926. Incredible achievement when you consider they're approaching their 100th anniversary!
It's about 45 minutes long, I think you'll enjoy it.

I visited the NYSOME first about age 5, 1937, location near Manhattan's Rockefeller Center. Then possibly a thousand times at the second story of the DL&W Hoboken Terminal, since the Electric Railroaders Association HQ was on the north balcony overlooking the vast third-rail O-gauge layout, and I was a teenage volunteer office worker there, 1947-1949. I wonder if the existing layout itself has any model buildings or scenery pieces from that long-ago time.
You could always ask them David. Here's the website home page, and there's a "Contact" section. Since you remember the NYSME from "way back when" I'm sure they'd love to hear from you!

I did, on their website, which is well-worth visiting. Thanks for the tip.
You're very welcome! Let us know if they write you back!
Here's a follow-up from "The Dakman," it's the NYSME HO layout.
Just as amazing as the O scale layout!
