Trying to see what other road names besides PRR were common in my area? I live between Altoona and Harrisburg .

I think the WM, NYC, B&O, Erie, Rdg may be the major players in your area. But you are deep in PRR country that is for sure.

Thanks guys...... But I have found a pic of the brickyard in our town with a ten track yard next to it filled with box cars. Every thing from ATSF , UP, WM, B&O,NYC to the PRR was present!!

csxmu, the boxcars do not indicate what RRs were prevelant in the area. Remember that interchange service can land any road in any part of the country. I have seen ATSF equipment in older pics of Philly area sites.
I am no expert but I agree with HighIron2003ar.....RDG, WM, NYC, B&O, and Erie were all in that area.
