Conn Co 838 (shown in two of the photos) is alive and active at the Seashore Trolley Museum in Maine.

When my mom and dad were courting in the late Forties they would take the New Haven to (where else?) New Haven and ride one of the endless stream of Connecticut Company open cars to the Yale Bowl.

They sure got dressed up for a football game...wonder how many flasks are inside those jackets? And where's the coeds from Vassar and Wellsley?
