I follow the John W. Barriger III library at Flickr.

They have recently been adding wonderful, color photos of  B&O interest. From the Thomas Underwood collection.

Middle Photo appears to be one of the Reading Iron Horse Rambles that looks like it is originating from the Upper Level of Camden Station in Baltimore - long before the construction of Oriole Park at Camden Yards or M&T Bank Stadium as the industrial concerns of the era are contributing to the local economy.

If I had to guess, the Reading steam engine is going to double the cars on the near track to the cars on the next track to complete building the train.

Showed a number of the places I worked at one time or another.  Most all  now gone.

For me, the photos in Brunswick around the engine terminal brought it back.  You can see the old B&O YMCA and the small B&O hospital next to it.    I spent hours and hours on the porch of the hospital which gave a great view of the turntable area.

Those buildings burnt down many years ago and now it is a small park.

Glad everyone is enjoying the memories. I, too, have very fond recollections of the B&O in the Cleveland and Akron area.
