Railroads Owns Steam Locomotives

Reading & Northern comes to mind.

While BNSF does not own any steam locomotives, they have been quite generous in allowing ATSF 3751, SP 4449, and MILW 261 to run on their rails in recent years.

Oh wow, David, I was tempted to list the regionals but that'd take way too much time.  If the orignal poster knows how to use the Internet he shouldn't have too much difficulty finding them.  

But I can help him a little  bit.  Mind you, this is ALL of them, not just the regionals and shortlines.

I assume you mean the Class 1's, the "Big Seven?"  Besides Union Pacific Canadian Pacific owns Hudson (4-6-4) 2816, however it's stored and not in use at this time.  There's no plans to re-activate it I'm aware of. 

The rest of the Class I's, no.
