Denver Circle was something of a pre-electric surburban line.  Within 4 years they sold out to the Santa Fe who hoped to use the ROW to bring in their own Std gauge line, but in the end were not able to use it

Yes, sleek and fleet of foot I bet, long elegant boiler . Quite the piece of machinery. No wonder they gave them names.

Can't say I'm a big fan of shredded wheat, but I just love  the look of that Dever Circle Ten-wheeler!  Wow!  What a sleek, slick-lookin' piece of machinery!  I betcha it could move  too!  

Love those 19th Century locomotives, they're more like pieces of art than machines.
