Ed, you won't regret adding the MN&S to your railroad book library.  My copy is currently loaned out, in the UK no less.  I requested that the authors sign my copy.  Makes it that much more personal.  I prefer to order direct from small publishers instead of the discount dealers to help support their business when possible.

Today my question is aout MN&S passenger service, which was discontinued during WW2. What type of equipment was used and what were the routes? All my OG's are in storage. Did the MN&S have dining service?

A now retired fellow GN-BN-BNSF clerk from Northtown is the premier authority about dining car china and has never seen MNS plates.

Any help is appreciated.
