Ex-Mississippian 76 eh, I just knew I recognized that engine!
Her sister (77) now works out my way, for Alberta Prairie Steam Tours in Stettler, AB. She now wears her original #41:

You would gotten more results if you had googled "Penn View Mtn RR",its predecessor.
B&I never carried a passenger and the loco was only fired up twice during 1974-76, Sloan Cornell and family moved everything from Blairsville to Gettysburg in the summer of 1976. They would operate in Gettysburg until the late 1990s, and then move to Knox,PA. where the excursions would run for a few years, but the RR went out of business at least 10-12 years ago. After that, all their equipment was damaged by an arson fire, I believe everything has since been sold off.Besides the usual train forums (trainorders, rypn), there is a facebook site devoted to the Penn View and the other Cornell family operations.
I also recommend the January 1977 issue of TRAINS Magazine for the article "How to move a RR; Lock,Stock, and enginehouse". The story of how the Cornells got their equipment from Blairsville to Gettysburg.
Thank you! It looks like the nicely painted Baldwin S12 is also gone.

GeoffS I googled the Blairsville & Indiana and got a little info under The Baldwin Diesel Zone - Blairsville & Indiana Railroad - Yard Limit and Gettysburg and Northern Railroad - Wikipedia.

I'm looking for information about the above tourist line which operated in this area until the equipment was moved to Gettysburg, PA. I had a discussion with some of the men in my parish and they'd heard something about it. However, none of them is a railfan, and I lost contact with the one local railfan who would likely know.
