That's a good start. I saw you've got a good conversation going with SD70Dude on the "Trains" Forum, enjoyable to read too!
Let's see where this one goes. Again, try "Classic Toy Trains" Forum as well, you might get some wild ideas over there.
Ok, my idea is to build a boxcab diesel... I'm wanting to use trucks like those from a MILW Bipolar Electric, now whether I want to reuse the Batchelder drive I'm not sure... I'm wanting to use either an Alco or FM prime movers I'm not sure how many the thing will need but I figure at least two if not four or more...
I might use a quill drive setup instead but I am not 100%...
Steve
If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough!
Hi, we've spoken over on the "Trains" Forum. Add a few more details as to what you'd like to do and see what reactions you get. This site's about railroading in the old days but there's no harm in asking for opinions about your project.
Friendly crowd here!
Howdy, this is my first post on the Classic Trains forum... I'm trying to build an HO scale model of a freelanced locomotive I have dreamed up, anyway I am trying to create a "prototype" explanation for the unit and I thought I'd stop in here to gets some other opinions...
