I took the train from Philly to New York City all the time. The color on the interior was a light tan. The red-white and blue was used on cars that was rebuild from 10-6 cars to coaches

Believe it or not the interiors for the Congressional and Senator cars were a red-white-and blue theme. Budd built cars had oil paintings on the bulkheads.

Hi all,

What were standard interior colors for PRR's passenger cars in the '40s and '50s? Namely fluted side cars?
