What do initials CMSIP stand for on a marker light?

Look closely at that "I" to be sure it's not a lowercase 't'.

If you're looking for railroad names here's a good place to start...

www.railroadiana.org

Pick "Railroad Names" from the left side of the website, and go to work.

Prepare to be staggered!  There's so many names your head's going to spin.  Mine hasn't stopped yet.  Ow.

You apparently have a real oldie: the Chicago Milwaukee and St. Paul--which became the CMSP&P.

I can't find CMSIP on the reporting mark list I use.

CMStP&P is the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific/Milwaukee Road.
