B&O Auto Truck with the fan drawing cold air from ice...fascinating! Talk about serving your customers. Wonder how long the effects lasted?

Until the train got on the move and the car mounted generators could begin developing sufficient current to get the on board equipment into operation.

The Auto Truck air was only used to pre-cool cars for subsequent departure.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!
