Railroad System Backshops
Posted by Backshop on Saturday, July 23, 2016 7:21 PM

I've always been interested in system backshops.  One of my favorite articles in Classic Trains is the "From Above" pics of backshop complexes.  Would anyone else be interested in compiling a list of all Class One system backshops with me.?

Sorry for the delay.  I also posted this in the Steam & Preservation subforum where there are quite a few responses.  I guess this one should be shut down.

I see what you mean.  It's a lot more active over there!

Trains, trains, wonderful trains.  The more you get, the more you toot!  Big Smile

Nothing wrong with posting it here either.  Haven't you noticed, the "Classic Trains" Forum attracts the more cerebral types?

Ah yes, the "zen" of railroading.

Oh nothing, I just said we're all above average over here, and a much nicer crowd.

By the way, my "zen" of railroading doesn't involve cosmic hums or levitation, it DOES usually involve copious amounts of MegaSteam smoke fluid in lieu of incense, duly vaporized in an MTH, Lionel, or Williams product.

And thank you Johnny!
