The photographs were excellent. The photo captions need some fact checking. Do the editors fact check these articles or are they just passed on to the consumer?
p.39 The N&W bought one U25B as a wreck replacement, #3515 built in February 1965.
p.40. The Union Pacific introduced turbocharging to EMD locomotives with its GP9 #281 in December 1955. The work by UP with AiResearch and Elliott Turbochargers led to EMD producing its own turbocharged units the GP20 and the SD24.
p.41 There were a total of 16 railroads that bought a total of 476 U25Bs. There were 478 produced, but the first two were never sold and remained with GE.
p.43 Alco sold 186 C628s. The extra five were exported to Australia.
p.44 There were no SD45X units built in 1968. There were five built in 1970 and another two built in 1971.
p.44 The U30B and U33B were offered concurrently from 1967 to 1976.
p.45 The three C636 demonstrators were built in November 1968. Three U S railroads purchased 31 units. An additional 35 C636s were built in Austrailia.

p.41 EMD 462 was rebuilt from C&NW F7A #6501A. The 6501A was originally built for the Chicago, Minneapolis, St. Paul & Omaha on order E1188 in December 1949. Diesel data from A J Kristopans hosted on Don Strack's webpage.
