Possibly you may remember his recount of a steam locomotive repair job on the Southern Pacific. He also wrote about the new Berlin Central Station for TRAINS. I have been told he has passed on to his eternal reward, but I lack details, and maybe a reader knows more. He also wrote about the installation of public address equipment on the Cumbres and Toltec, but I do not remember whether this was in a Kalmbach magazine or in Sound and Communcations, where he was an editor and contributor. I am very grieved at this loss.
