You'd probably get more than that discount (That seems to have expired already) by reselling your existing DVD collection.
While I just might just double dip here (I haven't kept up with special issues), there's no way I'd do the same with the inevitable Trains collection. That was expensive (At least $150, as I recall) and I have everything that likely would be added in paper form.
But a $30 or so expansion disc would be a different matter entirely.
I wonder if the new release fixes the MacOS X "Yosemite" problem.

Mercenary, aren't they? they can keep it. That's no deal. You pay 2/3 the price for 1/3 more.
i got an email stating that Kalmbach is offering $25 off the $79 price to previous purchasers of the 10 year edition.
Add 'DVD15' to the order. Offer was only for a short time. Delivery won't be til July but my credit card was charged same day.
If the CT crew reads this forum, I second that motion. It's only right that those of us who bought the first 10 years get the next 5 at some "deal".
I noted that the 15 year archive will soon be available for purchase. For those of us who purchased the "First 10 years" set, will an "expansion pack" be available to capture 2010 - 2015 issues?
