In the Classic forum - thread titles are not changing color to indicate that one has alread read the thread and no new posts have been added to the thread since the viewers last reading of the topic - like the rest of the Trains world.
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
Opps. I guess you improved it! Thanks much!

It would be nice if the forum could do hyperlinking and when I indent for a paragraph that the format would do the same--like it does at Model Railroader. I guess I don't understand why this forum is not the same as the other forums as they are all under Kalmbach aren't they?
WHATEVER YOU DO --don't get rid of the "Search Community" featurel
Someone seems to think that functions like "search trainsmag.com" work with Forum threads. They do not. There have been extensive discussions on the Trains Magazine site about this, but nobody seems able or willing to actually fix a problem that... really doesn't exist, as the feature remains both available and working from this site, so the engine code used on this site to provide the 'search community' functionality evidently works with 'new and improved' Web site code. Don't let anyone from IT attempt to convince you otherwise.
Thanks in advance.
Next Wednesday, Dec. 17, we'll be launching our new website. There are a lot of new and cool things about it, and some changes, including to the forum. Trains magazine recently relaunched its website, and those of you who are on the Trains forums will see a similarity in the new Classic Trains forum.
We hope you like the changes. Please let us know if you have any comments or questions!
