Hey, there were freight locos too! The EP stood for "Electric Passenger", EF for "Electric Freight". The last new freight units were class EF3, which were very similar in size, power and appearance to the EP4.

The NH electrics were designated EP1 through EP5. EP4 and EP5 were the only streamlined engines.
