George R. Cockle's book, "Giants of the West" has some moderately detailed scale drawings of the various UP GTEL's. Copyright was 1981, so you may have to do some digging to find a copy.

You remember that Kratville two-volume set on UP locos, that had hundreds of UP diagrams? Maybe 1:200 scale? It had the turbines.

Surely they appeared in one of the modeling magazines at some point. You might try GE customer relations or UP. Best bet may be UP historical society.

UP Gas Turbines

I'm looking for blueprints or schematics or some sort of diagrams for Union Pacific's GTEL locomotives. I'm hoping to use them for a big project somewhere down the line.
Any thoughts on where I might be able to find or obtain such resources? Or a starting place to look?

Thanks in advance,

Acela
