American Flyer 596 Water Tank wiring diagram & spout connection.
Posted by Loco309 on Monday, February 24, 2014 8:46 AM

Does anyone have access to a wiring schematic & diagram for the 596 water tank.  A family member gave me this tank, but inside the top, are two wires (black & green) that are supposed to be soldered to something & also connected to the top & bottom coil wires, but those connections are broken.  Does anyone know how to easily re-solder those connections?  Note: The yellow wire is still soldered to the light bulb base.

As for the spout, how does it connect to the spring attached assembly & plate inside & below the round coil?

Your don't.  Your folly will exist for the duration of the forums.  Unless someone determines it violates the TOS and a mod removes it.
