I´m interested in knowing the names of mexican heavyweight sleeping cars of the Nacionales de Mexico (NdeM). As far as I know, heavyweight sleeping cars were running in Mexico on the NdeM well into the 70s. To be more precise, I would be interested in the car names during the 50s era.
Does anyone know where I could maybe find a listing of mexican heavyweight sleeping cars and their car names?

My suggestion is to write Robert Wayner at 348 East 4th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11218. He has published a number of passenger car books including "The Cars that Went to Mexico". I don't know the price for that book. I do have a 1963 book of his "Car Names and Consists" that lists four or five pages of NdeM railcars that came from the US.

Thanks for the info. Just did a little research on the internet. That book must be hard to find. And I also saw that is was sold for 80 $ in an ebay auction. Pretty much since it contains only 80 pages.
Please call me at 763-234-9306 CT, but not before 10AM.
I'll look up the information.
