No its called a standard clock usually.Not all railroads use GPS.Plus why the question here in the classic trains thread?And why GMT it goes by time zone.

Yes we are on time but this is yesterdays train

Is there anyone familiar with the general time-keeping procedures and instruments of the railroad companies. Are GPS in use for time checks ? Is GMT the index?
