Just to the east of Dearborn Station, a one-story Annex faced north onto Polk Street.
Does anyone know of a photo of the Annex?
I have never been able to find one on the Internet.

Well, I'm not surprised that there have been no replies to this question.
In all of my searching, and all of the books that I have come across, I have never seen a picture of the Dearborn Station Annex.
I wonder if any photos of the one story building were ever taken?
I had a brainstorm and emailed the General Manager of Dearborn Station to inquire about the possibility of any vintage photos of the Annex.
Unfortunately, he was unable to provide any assistance.
Rich: Your quest for a photo had me searching many publications in my collection. I found one in the softcover book "Chicago Stations & Trains Photo Archive" by John Kelly. I bristled at the errors in captions and dates of the B&W photos displayed therein. The book may have redeemed itself with a photo of the Dearborn Annex building. Email me off line, and I will send you what I have . To my knowledge, I am only aware of the C&WI commuter trains to Dolton using the Annex as its terminal. Best regards,

Phil, thank you so much for that information. I will PM you.
My dear wife took up the challenge of finding a photo of the Dearborn Station Annex and came up with this one. The Annex can be seen in the lower left portion of the photo.
This photo is provided courtesy of the Chicago Rail Junctions website.

There are some good photos of the Annex in Hilton's Monon Route book. It should be available from used book dealers and ebay.
