can anyone tell me which locomotive was on display at the Philidephia industrial museum in 1975 ?.
I don't remember a Philadelphia industrial museum, but there is the Franklin Institute in Philly. On display in Railroad Hall is Baldwin number 60,000, a three cylinder water-tube boiler steam engine built in the 1920's. It was a little too radical for the railroads at the time and Baldwin didn't have any takers, it was the only one built. Hope this answers your question!
