Beautiful photography and report.  Rode the line in the summer of 1962.  Also Festiniog, Vale of Rhydole (still BR-operated at the time), and Mt. Snowdon (steam then).   Glad all still run!

Glad you enjoyed the story.

I have been on the Ffestiniog three times now including this past summer. I also rode the Welsh Highlands and the Welchpool & Llanfair this trip. Stories may be expected soon.
