Passenger Train and Northern Wisconsin
Posted by SCHROEDER on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 3:21 PM

Train's magazine did and article in 1984 about the Namakegon, a small gas electric that ran from Hudson, Wisconsin to Ashland, Wisconsin from the late 30's to the early 50's.

Does anyone have more information about the Namakegon othr than what was in the article by Train's mag?

Stan Mailer's book "The Omaha Road" has some info on it, but I don't think it's much more than what was in the Trains article. A web search didn't come up with much more either. A fairly obscure train!!
