Diremaker - Sorry I missed this earlier. Any luck with this problem. I always found problems like this could also come from dirty track. Try cleaning real good and see if it helps.

Move this thread to the Classic Trains forum where you will getter some responses.
A loose truck can cause flickering lights if the car is losing contact with the rails.
It could also be dirty pickup wheels. Try cleaning the wheels if you haven't already done so.

Hi All,
Just picked up a AF 634....but the light flickers on the tracks. All contacts are clean, soldering is good and there's no issues with wiring...but the truck appears slightly loose where the soldered connection is. Any fix to tighten the truck to the underbody of the car without replacing? Just wondering. Thanks
