I have had this engine for awhile but have lost the drive shaft. Does anyone know where I can get one?

First time on this forum and I am not sure if I got on the correct one.

Welcome to the Trains.com forums stoneagent! You might get more help if you post in the Model Railroader section. Hope this helps!

stoneagent:

I have a red J W Bowker HO scale engine 2-4-0 and right now Frank, at Despatch Junction, is cleaning/overhauling the motor. He also said that he can replace the motor. He said that the engine was still in good condition and it is a good engine worth repairing.  While I was there he showed me 2 identical used J W Bowkers from a collection in good condition selling for $39.00 each. I bought both because I enjoyed reading the history of the Virginia Truckee RR and knowing that this engine is in the California RR museum. Here is the name, address and phone for Despatch Junction. I have done business with them for several years and I am a satisfied customer. If you type in Despatch Junction in your search engine their website will come up.
