Movie Train Boxcar on Road Trip to Tennessee
Posted by Fillmore Train Lady on Monday, July 26, 2010 7:04 PM

The Fillmore & Western Railway has been involved in the movie production film shoot, Water For Elephants since May.  After wrapping up locally, one of the companies boxcars is now on a road trip headed for Chattanooga, Tennessee to continue working on its' "close-up".

Attention Rail Fans:  As if you need a reason to track down a boxcar being transported via truck on an interstate highway, here is your formal invitation to do so.  Submit your photo of our 1920's SP box car enroute to Chattanooga, Tennessee from Fillmore, CA.   It is enroute to continue with the filming for a few more days.  If you see this box car with BENZINI BROS CIRCUS on the side, take a photo and send the photo to us at info@fwry.com  Our staff will be the judges of the competition.  The prize will be a surprise to all.  The train will also be returning to Fillmore, CA in about a week, so snap a photo either coming or going, we'd love to see your creativity.  Remember to include the location you took the photo, which highway, near which town in what state, what day and time and of course, your name and contact info.  Thanks and good luck.
