Bill Price Photo Exhibit
Posted by Bills_Son on Monday, January 25, 2010 2:57 PM
Hello! I'm pleased to announce a photographic exhibit entitled "Steam in Central Appalachia: the Trainscapes of Bill Price". As many of you know, William P. "Bill" Price was a photographer whose work in the 50's was commonly found in places like Trains Magazine, and who documented the end of the Steam Era mostly around Cumberland, MD. He is also my late father, and I am curating an exhibit of his photographs which will open on L&N Day, June 5, 2010, in Berea, KY, where I live. I'm interested in getting in touch with anyone who knows my father and in gathering any stories they might care to share to be included in the exhibit. There will also be a companion web site where they would be published. I look forward to hearing from you. Best regards, Thom Price gondolaguy@gmail.com
