trains in the movies

Any one know what locomotive was used in the movie "Breakheart Pass"? Also which railroad was used and the locations? Thanks for your help.

The International Movie Database (imdb.com) doesn't list the locomotive but lists the filming location as:

Camas Prairie Railroad, Lewiston, Idaho, USA

I don't know of they have a website.

I haven't seen the movie in a long time but it was either #51 or #75. Both were ex-Great Western Ry 2-8-0s. Great movie.........Bronson, mountain, snow and trains........just doesn't get much better! LOL

Great Western 75 was also in A River Runs Through It and Geronimo.

#75 is quite the movie star.  It also has a featured role in Richard Brooks' rowdy western THE PROFESSIONALS--does double duty both as a private locomotive the "J.W.Grant" and then later in the film as a NdeM locomotive stopped by Mexican 'revolutionaries' led by Jack Palance. 

Neat film.
