Ceramic Train Tile Given By CN.
Posted by TDWPJacques on Sunday, April 26, 2009 2:32 PM

My grandad died about 10 years ago and he left me all of his train items, his models anything he had and today i recently came across these ceramic tiles given to him from what would appear to be CN. The first tile infront of me says canadian national on top and then on the bottom what i am guessing to be the train model which i am assuming is very old 2-8-2 ("MIKADO") No 3229 then on the back it says CN moutain region- production dept, SAFETY AWARD an original design by HEADFORD CERAMICS:TORONTO, Made In Canada. Then the second one one again says Canadian National Railways but on the bottom of this one " MOGUL" Type No.81 ,and the the third and final one canadian national railways Suburban Tank Engine 4-6-4t No49.
