If you have patience, you will get fair value for it.   Post this in Garden Railroads, first choice, Model Railroader, second choice, and Classic Toy Trains, 3rd Choice.   Point out where the equipment can be inspected, since condition is important and people will not want to give full value sight unseen.

You should also, in addition, go to the narrow gauge website that lists the various operating passenger carrying BRITISH steam large-scale model railroads.  The Romney Haith and Dymchurch  (not necessarily spelled correctly), and the Ravenglass and Ecksdale are two that I rode on.   These are model railroads that are also used by commuters!   There are a number of others scattered through the United Kingdom, and one may want its own rebuilding and repair facilities that are now lacking.

I don't know of any comparable railroads in the USA.   Unless that machinary can handle the various two-foot gauge Maine railroads now being revived and operating.   Wiscasset and Quebec, etc.

I need help!  Any of you familiar with his custom work will have a much easier time imagining what comprised his workshop than I will at describing it all.  My question is- Is there likely to be anything of value to anyone and if so where would be the best place to offer it? (once I've figured out what it is)  I'm thinking there's a better place than eBay.  It's been almost 2 years since he passed and as his only child I have to figure this out soon. I understand this forum is not that place, but I'm really in the dark here.  Please help me with some insights, suggestions....what should we do with it?

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!
