I am kind of new about learning about trains. I was wondering if any of you could tell me if there is a website that i could learn more about trains on. Thanks!!!

Then, too, it is such a  diverse hobby. Not everybody  is interesed in the same things. There  are locomotive buffs (and then break that down to diesel, steam and electric), passenger trains, foreign lines, commuter trains ,subways, different  periods (like before Amtrak--1971--and after) Also differeent  regions of the country..All sorts of breakdowns---a wide spread ,far flung  hobby,it is  actually.  

If you have some specific ideas just what yu are interested in, we might help you more. Use your imagination in googling topics, you might be surprised  how specific it can get and how quickly. Try googling the name of any particular railroad company you are inerested in.
