two trains one track
Posted by joedor on Thursday, February 14, 2008 2:02 PM

I have a 12 x15 layout using the fast track sys. In one of the back issues they spoke about running 2 trains on a single track and gave the part numbers and description of what was needed.  Can anyone help me out there? The collisions are causing pain........ they will run in the same direction !!!! Is this a possible to do?

Thanks

joedor, I think you're posting in the wrong forum; were you reading Classic TOY Trains or Model Railroader?

Many people were posting here incorrectly but it has gotten much better since the explanations of the various forums were expanded.

Even so, you'll find a lot of us old reprobates have had Lionel trains in our youth!  And I actually still have copies of Lionel's old magazine, The Model Builder.  Also remember an article in some magazine that talked about a street car system that could control 4 cars, slowing and stopping (but not reversing direction), ALL on the same track.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
