Does anyone have any photos of an Erie Triplex under steam and working a train that they can post? All the pictures on Fallen Flags and similar on-line sites are builder's type photos.
Were the headlights and markers on the Triplex ever converted to electricity and if yes, where was the generator placed on the engine?
Can anyone explain the function of the following details?
1. There is a horizontal cylinder mounted at the top front of the engineer's side of the cab with a pipe connected to the turret on the boiler top in front of the cab.
2. There are two connected horizontal cylinders under the right side running board over the engine's rear set of drivers.
