Does anyone know if Southern Pacific had Texas (2-10-4)types on their railroad?
If they did what were the numbers of the locomotives?

According to the Guide to North American Steam Locomotives by George H. Drury, the SP didn't have any Texas types. The closest thing they had was the 4-10-2 Southern Pacific type, a three-cylinder compound monster.

Neither the SP or SSW had 2-10-4 types. SP had mamy 2-10-2's and the 4-10-2's mentioned. SSW had 4-8-2's and 4-8-4's as their biggest steam.
