like in the book Playing With Trains, Co. Midland 22 was a "bad luck" engine. it created a lot of  wrecks.  But you could model 5125 with a C&O Allengeny, well, maybe.

I think actually the 5125 had a lot of history to her, really bad luck history. A famous photographer for the NP railroad Warren McGee stated "Everytime there was Break in two, derailment, accident, the 5125 was there!"

Actually I think sunset models is coming out with a affordable 4-8-4 A-4,A-3, and A-5 that is brass scale capatable for about 650.00, on the steep side but really a nice locomotive... your right though, I love these challengers and nobody makes them except brass imports....

Yep youre right that class was a reat beaut  Its is a shame that these along with the CNW H class and E class were never modeled fro H O Scale

U bet !! It's a shame for us model railroaders that there's about 20 different models of UP Challengers out there, but not one model of these NP beauties!!
