Well, I'm not 100% sure about the value. There were two different Bing crossing signs that this could be. It could either be an "X" with "Railroad Crossing" or a diamond shape with a line in the middle that says "Railroad Crossing Look Out For The Locomotive". Some of these actually had a bell on them that would be activated by the train going by.

I HAVE THIS IS A VINTAGE RAILROAD CROSSING. IT READS "MADE IN GERMANY" UNDERNEATH, ALTHOUGH SOME OF THE PAINT HAS CHIPPED AWAY. IT HAS EMBOSSED "GBN" WHICH IDENTIFIES THIS SIGN AS BEING MANUFACTURED BEFORE 1923, MADE BY GEBRUDER BING NUREMBURG. IT MEASURES APPROX 9" TALL, APPROX 3 1/2" ACROSS, AND THE BASE IS APPROX 3" DIAMETER. IT IS CHROME PLATED WITH PAINT OVER CHROME. IT IS LETTERED IN ENGLISH. IT WAS PRODUCED WHEN MODEL STEAM ENGINES WERE ACTUALLY STEAM POWERED!

ANY IDEA OF ITS VALUE? OR ANYONE WANTING TO BUY IT?
