I don't really have a favorite but I probably like the Hiesler best out of the list.

Yes we call it the Dinky. Why? Well cause it's dinky! Proud to be the official train geek of Princeton University!

I have always liked all steam locomotives, especially those that are operable, but the SP GS-6 4460 is my favorite. I just think that Lima 4-8-4 is one darn good lookin' locomotive.
The all-weather "sport" cab, single headlight and semi-stream lining really set it apart from the crowd. It doesn't get much attention now, but if it were ever restored, freshly painted and taken out on the road it would be a different story.

I like the shay, real power, it just takes a while to get anyhwere. The climaxes where good too, it was said of them that it would follow two lines drawn in the dirt with a stick.
