Stations still in use other than Amtrak and the T&P Depot in Fort Worth (Winter 2007 Classic Trains)

Hi Everyone, I was reading the Winter 2007 issue of Classic Trains and on the back page there is a photo of the Texas and Pacific Depot in Forth Worth.  That is a truly amazing structure.  It is a Art Deco style 13 story skyscraper built in 1931.  I was not so much amazed to read that it had once existed (there were many great stations) but that it not only survives but is still in service with the Trinity Railway Express!  It got me wondering are there any other amazing stations still in service off the Amtrak network.  I say outwith Amtrak becuase those depots tend to get more publicity accross here in the UK.  There is of course Grand Central Terminal in New York, and I have also heard of the Hoboken Terminal in New Jersey (also being restored and appearing in the same issue of Classic Trains).  Then there is the Buffalo Central Terminal - www.buffalocentralterminal.org.  Are there any others lurking on commuter systems?

Kevin

LaSalle Street, Northwestern Station (Olgivie Transportation Center), and Randolph Street (2 stations, IC and South Shore) in Chicago.  Also classic stations at Highlands (BNSF), Kenilworth (C&NW North Line) and Marengo (Illinois Railway Museum, Union).

The CNW depot in Carroll Iowas is being restored and will be used by the city for office space.  In Yankton South Dakota  The former Milwaukee depot id being used by a Cable TV company and in Wayne Nebraska the for Omaha Road depot is being used by the Godfathers Pizza people as a  resturant.   The former CNW Station in Norfolk Nebraska was a resturarnt until it caught fire. and as far as I know it still is still empty.  The former Union Paciofic station in Hastings Nebraska is a bar and  resturant and the Louisville and Nashive freight depot in Huntsville Alabamais a resturant   CNW FOREVER   Larry
