Last mile service improvement for SFO.

Here you go, every city should do this and return the trains back to downtown.   Intent is to use for High Speed Rail as well.    Though I might interject, this is the big reason California is paying so much money for HSR.

A last-mile service improvement for SFO would be a line direct to the airport.  This business goes to downtown SanFran, not an airport code.

Part already connects to SFO. however the walk from CalTrain to the business core is not nothing. Plus, as I understand it, this could also be a terminus for the potential second BART tube.

True. But there now is at least light rail (T line?) that connects. The bus service to Caltrain used to be pretty dismal.

On the other hand, last time I was in SF, we walked from Petco to Chinatown and it was only about 25 minutes each way. Never would have attempted it until Google maps showed me it was doable.
