Was driving from Jacksonville, Florida back home to Columbus, Georgia two weeks ago and saw what looked like a MOW train parked on a siding.

What was interesting about this particular train was that there were several passenger cars attached to it- and a pair of old EMD covered wagons. This in the vicinity of Dawson, Georgia- my DOT map says the right of way belongs to the Georgia-Florida railroad.

I don't know enough about EMD's to be able to determine if the locomotives were F-units or old E's- they were probably F's.

The train did NOT belong to the SAM Short Line- an excusion line that is close by. I have seen the CSX business train, and these locomotives weren't marked CSX (or NS, either.)

So, who does it belong to? Could it be privately owned? The locomotives were painted blue and yellow, but there was NOT any other road marking on it. Since I was driving, I couldn't take pictures... sorry.

Erik
