"Non-Matching Quote Blocks In Post"

  • Sometimes when I reply to certain posts in these forums, I get a, "Non-Matching Quote Blocks In Post" warning that disallows me from posting. What does this mean? This happens even when I don't alter the original poster's quote.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox, if that matters.

  • I have had that happen quite a few times recently....but not in the last week. I think it is a software problem.

That usually means that you are missing either * quote * before, or * /quote * after, the post you are quoting.  (  Both would be boxed in by [      ]  )  I find that I usually mess this up by not going all the way to the bottom of the thread I am quoting.
