  • I'm Jacob, I'm 13, and I'm planning my first layout. The 9x16 Allegheny Central & Southern in HO scale. And my favorite railroads would be my own, the Norfolk & Western and the Chesapeake & Ohio.

    i just got a bunch of GTW stuff recently, boxcars, SD-38 from athearn, and a caboose (come on gotta have a caboose)

    as with RR redneck my o scale lies on shelves. i am though when i get home going to handlay a #4 turnout in HO scale (i love handlaying track)

     

    so what kind of music do you guys like? me, SKA, and rock.

  • I'm a teen model railroader, too. I'm going freelance with my 4X8 so I can freely run all of my 6 engines: a F3 (CNW, my first engine and cource of screen name), RS-32 (also CNW), Athearn Hustler (Riverside, my freelanced layout), B23-7 (Conrail), FA2 (CN), and BL2 (C&O).

  • well on sunday i went to a train show in detroit and picked up a pair of powered sd 40's in GTW for $27.00 (OMG) i got the first one, payed for it, went to the test tracks and it wouldent work the motor hummed but it dident work Sad [:(] i took it back, and said "this one dosent work." vendor said, "ok try this one" i took it out and it worked, so i go back to the guy and said this one works and he gave me the broken one, more later

  • We got our last home game of the season today. We are playing Goliad today which is right down the road. I know half the Goliad band so I am gonna mess with them so bad.

  • so i got home and took off the side cover on the trucks THERE WAS GLUE ON THEM WHERE THEY MET THE WHEELS! it was quite an easy fix scrape the glue off, put the side covers back on, WORKS GREAT!
