Thanks for the tip, Brent.  I wondered about that.  Simple Green, maybe Windex (ammonia) might do the trick.  If I were pressed to put up some dough on it, I'd bet that TSP would also work well.

I have had my CMX for about a year now, and have discarded two pads.  I want to keep the roll that I have left.

Crandell, I bet there is a whole host of products that would work, let us know if you experiment. The wife kept gallons of Dawn on hand at her Vet Hospital for oil-covered wildlife that would come in so it is always our go-to for oily grime.
