Computerized Building Lighting

Posted by BruceK

I was tired of plain, static building lighting. So I computerized it. Using the Arduino microcontroller board, I programmed 7 pulse modulated (PM)outputs to drive 7 warm colored LEDs for each room. The program randomly turn each room on and off and the PM makes the LED quickly dim so it’s more realistic. With the program stored in the boards memory, I only have to apply 5 volt DC to a single cable to enable an entire building come to life.

I complete the building with room backdrop photo and a couple of people to cast shadows inside.
